REVIEW

This is my first book from this author and won’t be my last as this type of story is right up my alley. This story is a very niche book and there isn’t many books out there that fit this category. But there is a big problem, Johnson toys between the fine line of a good story and straight up scenes. The BDSM elements fit this novel and there is a basis for a good story . It’s just told at full speed from the perspective of the female and you have to felt whether they truly had time to form the bond needs for a relationship like theirs.

Each of the males in the novel bring something different to the novel in and out of the club. But we truly only get to explore the dynamics of some not all. Each has their quirks and traits that brings something to the relationship. However given the fast past of their relationship and how quick things come together we only hear the true perspective of the female. The guys are secondary in their thoughts, we only hear them when it comes to the defining moments and I wanted this group to be more solid given that the heroine was a bystander dreaming of things until she met these guys and gave her want she wanted.
It had the earmarking of something good but it didn’t quiet hit the mark for me.
