A Lot Like Christmas by Jennifer Snow
Title: A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS
Genre: Holiday Romance
Synopsis:
This Christmas season, love comes where you least expect it.
For Jessica Connolly, there is no better place than her coastal hometown of Blue Moon Bay. She has a wonderful family, supportive best friends, and a successful bakery on Main Street. Unfortunately, every time she designs one of her ex-boyfriends’ wedding cakes, she’s reminded just how unlucky she is with love…and that she’s a good luck charm for men to find their happily ever after. With someone else. The minute they break up. So she’s decided to be done with love.
Dr. Mitch Jameson is more comfortable traveling the world with Doctors Without Borders than staying in one place. He just needs to survive the holidays in his small hometown before he can leave again. The beautiful, intriguing bakery owner with an aversion to dating might be just who he needs to occupy his restless heart.
From sipping hot chocolates at the local festival of lights to early morning dessert deliveries, Jessica and Mitch rediscover the spirit of the holidays. But when the 25 days of Christmas are over, will their romance be over, too?

REVIEW
This was my first book from this author and definitely won’t be the last. Think Hallmark romance with spicy. The poor heroine Jess has had a hard love life and she isn’t prepared for the charm she has become for other women. Her ex’s are all happy married and Jess is sworn off love.
With Christmas right around the corner and other pressing matters in her life. This seems the wise decision given that the holidays bring her so much cheer from other sources. Until Dr Mitch Jameson walks into her bakery. Now Dr Mitch summed perfectly in this novel with an avid description that you need to read for yourself. Mitch is a wonderer with no commitments. He wants to get in and out .
They seem perfect for each other on paper. Jess is against dating and Mitch rather be in the middle of no where with no ties.
But there is always the holiday magic and this book plays up the appeal of Christmas and the magic. These two seem to have this chemistry that electrifies from the moment they meet. It could of been over in a minute and they could been on their way. These two respected each other wishes and without realising were getting to know each other intimately without those bells and whistles. The foundations where been set whether they want something more permeant or not. The perfect way to kick of this Holliday season , this standalone romance reminds love can hit you any time or any age.
