It’s been years since I picked up a book from this author but Smeltzer’s latest The Boy novel was a treat. Cree is the top of his game. He is on his way to the NHL and nothing stopping him. However there is a secret he wants to explore and Ophelia doesn’t know about the twist, well there more to her then she wants to admit . Cree just wants to be there for her and is willing to do anything even when it means going along for the ride.

Good Guys don’t lie is like the title suggest, the honest truth from a guy who has it all and hasn’t gone to their head. Cree is a gentleman and treats her with the respect she deserves. Definitely will check out the rest of this series.

Micalea Smeltzer is a twenty-something author from Northern Virginia. She has four dogs, which is as crazy as it sounds. As a recent kidney transplant recipient she’s dedicated to raising awareness around the effects of kidney disease, dialysis, and transplant as well as educating people on living donation. When she’s not writing you can catch her with her nose buried in a book.
